Mobile Connect for Microsoft Azure Active Directory
Microsoft’s cloud-based identity and access management service, Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), is now enabled for enterprises with Mobile Connect.
Mobile Connect is a mobile operator-delivered authentication service that can be used by Azure AD customers who take advantage of conditional access policies. By adding Mobile Connect’s two-factor authentication service, you can offer secure sign-in to applications supported by Azure AD, such as Office 365 and thousands of other 3rd party SaaS apps.

How does it work?
With Azure AD conditional access, enterprises can control how authorised users access applications such as Office 365 and other cloud apps. A conditional access policy is triggered after the first-factor authentication has been completed and when the specific user conditions dictate that an additional second factor authenticator, such as Mobile Connect, is required.
